As we near the end of the fall season, any outdoor quarantine activities will become more difficult due to the drop in temperature and the change in weather. Here is a short list of a few quarantine activities for your team or staff as temperatures begin to plummet.

Walk To A Coffee Shop
As a business owner, we need to keep supporting local business. Find a coffee shop within walking distance and make the entire office pay a visit. Remember to follow social distancing guidelines, so maybe send in a few team members at a time to grab a drink of their choice. It’s never too cold to walk to a coffee shop. Share ideas amongst each other about your favorite coffee recipes.
Tag The Office Christmas or Holiday Tree
Make a trip to your local tree farm to tag the office Christmas tree. This can be a fun time with your team to enjoy a short period out of the office. Many tree farms allow you to pre-select your Christmas tree for the upcoming season.
Go Hiking or Walk A Trail
Some of my most creative thoughts have surfaced while running or walking on my favorite trail. If your team is struggling to find a solution to an issue or marketing strategy, ask those team members to walk a trail together. Sometimes a change of scenery is all it takes to get the proper perspective. Exercise is good too!
Visit Art Galleries, Fall Festivals, or Outdoor Sales
During this difficult time we want to make sure we are still supporting small business. Visiting an art gallery (setup outside) or fall festival or sale can really lighten the mood and encourage team building. Spend a few hours with your team enjoying the fall or Christmas season weather.
Allow Flex Time
Give your staff flex time during the week to accomplish personal tasks. Times are difficult during this pandemic. Allowing your employees to leave during peak hours to accomplish small personal tasks will show you care about their well-being. Reducing in-office stress will help the productivity of your company.
