A transparent header area provides a cool, modern look for your website. To get this effect, a few things need to happen.
- The header background elements need a transparent color, or some value of transparency.
- The other thing needed is for the first section BELOW the header to have its origin at the same origin as the header (layered), as opposed to normal, default stacking of subsequent sections below the header. In the Section Settings/Advanved tab/Position- select FIXED, Top Center and a Z-Index of 1. see graphic. Give it a try.

Below is a graphic showing the normal, default stacked section just as a reference or in case you want to go back to normal section flow.
